In late October, Jamaica was devastated by a historic Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 185 mph, the most powerful storm to impact the island since record keeping began. The devastation and destruction left thousands of families without housing, electricity, clean water, and access to basic necessities. Entire communities are now facing displacement, food insecurity, and critical shortages.
